A thorough vetting process to select only qualified teachers

Our teachers undergo a thorough vetting process to select only qualified supply teachers. Only 70% of the people who call to enquire progress to the interview stage, whereas a further 10% fail to proceed. The process involves pre-vetting at initial contact by the applicant, a strict vetting procedure, and a face-to-face interview.

Every applicant must submit two completed references by senior staff members and previous employers. There is also an enhanced DBS check and qualification check using original documents and contacting GTC. After a successful application and employment, feedback is received after each supply assignment from schools to monitor their teaching quality.
